| Hey guys, The new album of unreleased songs by Michael Jackson is here. Since the half of December, there have been many opinions and debates about it, the songs on it, who sings them... We would like to hear your opinions about the album. Did you buy it? How do you like it? What do you think about the songs on their own? What are your impressions overall? | I bought the album. I still don't know what I think of it to be honest.
I'm not going into whether I think certain tracks are him or not because I think that debate is just going around in circles and causing too many frictions among the fan base.
I think the track list is weak. I was expecting the first release to include more album out takes that were virtually completed by Michael. This just feels very detached from Michael's artistic vision imo. Many tracks are over produced to my ears and not of the quality I was expecting.
I am fully aware that my expectations for this album were far too high, we've just waited so long for new music I suppose and with the previously leaked tracks like Xcape and BG that we've heard I was expecting something different tbh.
On a positive note, I do LOVE BOJ and HMH very much. |
