- Sponsors (Pepsi & Kellogg)
- Grammy's
- Doll's, record players anything with his NAME on it
- Music Videos changed for ever THRILLER!

So what was it really like?

Everytime when someone mentions the name Michael Jackson, people say mostly "Thriller!" at first
I think the Moonwalk at Motown 25, the totally new sound he brought with this album and his charisma (connected with the new style of dance) were the main reason for starting the Jacksonmania. He broke the racial and social barriers, everyone listened to him and wanted to be like him. He also became respected by his colleagues more as well as an artist, since he turned into a phenomenal songwriter and a true visionaire on stage. All that made the first REAL megastar of Michael all over the world. He was so fresh, new, totally different from others, therefore people became obsessed with him, so now wonder about all the souvenir-madness And the fact that he was shy, modest, very gentle and spoke so little off stage made him even more attractive for all - mostly for the media. The less he spoke, the more did media write/broadcast about him and actually made him the most well-known person on the planet...
So to sum it up, the Thriller era was a starting era of pure fan-madness, obsession and the everlasting legend
